AQuote Insurance was formed in 1988 to provide a quality broking
service to private individuals. Aquote Insurance have over
30,000 clients (growing daily) and act for over thirty different
insurers, ensuring that their customers get the right policy
at the right price.
They offer installment facilities, with a deposit to payable
to start cover and then the balance payable by credit or debit
card under a continuous credit card authority agreement over
the following 9 months. A credit charge will be added to the
total premium for this service.
All the insurers they use are either registered with the Association
of British Insurers or the Lloyds Registration Council.
They offer an optional protected no claims bonus which allows
policyholders to have a certain number of claims arising from
their own error or fault without affecting their no claims
discount.
This facility is not available on their internet site and
must be arranged over the phone. If you are unlucky enough
to have an accident their cover normally provides a courtesy
car provided you have a comprehensive policy with them and
your vehicle is repairable (not written off) and the claim
is arranged through your insurance company's' approved repairer
(subject to availability).
However certain insures do not provide courtesy vehicles and
this is displayed on their quote calculation page. They can
provide other types of cover including motorcycle, commercial
vehicle, travel and household via the phone.
They offer a range of policies for young drivers and for first
time insurers they are able to offer a 6 month policies which
allows a 30% discount off the first premium subject to no
claims bonus.
Legal protection cover is automatically included in all of
their quotations. This provides cover in respect of solicitors
fees to provide assistance in recovering any uninsured losses
in connection with a non-fault claims (such as your excess
or damages for personal injury). http://www.aquote.co.uk
